A parasite can be considered an entity that exploits another entity's content and influence on the universe. The content can be matter, information, energetic and influential trace on the universe.
With this point of view, any major form of AI, the "Human brain and Earth minero-ecological health" hungry ones, can be considered harmful parasites. They have a memetic part, but a massive material and influential part too.
