In the name of equal time, because I just finished Ted Kennedy's audiobook, I bought Gavin Newsome's audiobook and began to listen.
I'm two sentences in and I don't think I can get through the first chapter. His presentation is TERRIBLE. It's like this guy has never done public or professional speaking. He's AAAWFUL! The rhythm is kind of like early Captain Kirk, but without emotion.
I feel like if I listen to the whole book I will need a shot of penicillin.

Denali is as far from Anchorage as New York City is from Washington, DC, so you'd have to drive an entire day to see it. and you'd still never experience the extremes.

My boy is doing very well. He's friendly, sassy and spunky and everyone he meets loves him! I'm really glad we kept him, or he might have ended up in a bad place like the Pom in the photo. That would be tragic!

This is really close to my basic recipe except I drizzle the oil. You can go nuts with this one... cracked black pepper, basil and parm, cumin and chili powder, dill... you can even go with cinnamon and extra sugar for Elvis sammiches (peanut butter, banana, bacon, and mayo). SO much better than store stuff!
And yes, extra light is quite neutral, but sometimes the flavor of EVOO is actually a bonus. It's great with balsamic vinegar instead of white!

Fettuccini tossed with olive oil, red bell peppers, scallops with salsa, and fava beans, crowned with fresh cracked black pepper. Pairs well with mid-bodied whites like sauvignon blanc or unoaked chardonnay.

Organ meats used to be inexpensive too. Now chicken livers are nearly as much by weight as whole chickens! 😬
Fortunately for my dog, he's only about 10 pounds, so I can afford to feed him real food. (Besides, I'm an empty nester and I welcome the opportunity to cook!) But even if I didn't, I'll bet dog food is also stupidly spendy, just not as high quality.

I actually am a fan of red meat. Venison and black bear are our local wild fare, and prepared correctly, they are marvelous!

Wow. She obviously does not understand what a handmade quilt MEANS. How it is an investment of time and care, as well as materials, and it is an heirloom that generations can reflect upon and treasure.
My Auntie made quilts for my husband and me only a year or so before she died. I already had blankets. But the quilts are ART and EXPRESSION, and LOVE. Nothing a WalMart fleece throw can replicate.

Not much of an X follower, but that's an interesting theory.
Fortunately my original investment 14 years ago was just 7 bucks and change. It eventually went up to around 2.2K. I liked that, so a couple of years ago, on the advice of a prominent wealth advisor (who also happens to be my uncle), I bought 14.7K of IBIT. If I get out now, I'm still ahead on Coinbase (It's around 1.2K), but behind on IBIT. It sucks to see it tank when it was riding so high.

Vaguely. Until this morning, I could see sats on both computers, but only in the extension. The Hub ALWAYS said 0 sats until today. I consider that progress.

I used Umbrel to set up Bitcoin node, Lightning node, and Alby Hub.... although I had an Alby hub set up since July, but it never was functional. i was not asked to copy down more words when I started using Umbrel. Ostensibly, it was all the same account.

My settings in the Alby Hub has no "backup" feature.

OK. They called it "recovery words" on the app. "Import the seed" didn't ring a bell at all.
WHERE do I "import" the seed/recovery words?
