I fixed this issue. I had to "Unhide" Primal on my phone. No idea why it was hidden in the first place. I didn't even know this was possible.
Not sure if this related to the disconnection issue before. Either way it's sorted.

It seems as though Primal is still on my phone but there is no icon. When I try to install from Zapstore or Aurora Store it fails but asks if I want to update. Here's a few relevant screen shots.

I've tried reinstalling a couple times but first couldn't sign in and now it won't even install.
I can however use Primal on my Mac and have 4 green relays and 4 red. It was the same on the phone except the caching service was also red.
Enhanced privacy is off.
It might be a CalyxOS issue but had been using it for years with no problems.

Bitcoin Security Levels: From Least to Most Secure
Here's a guide outlining the various levels of Bitcoin security, ordered from worst to best. Each level generally increases in complexity, control, and safety. There are other security factors with most setups like the importance of backing up seed words securely on paper or metal, the optional use of a passphrase on Single Signature setups and the option to run your own full Bitcoin node that are not included here.
1. Custodial Wallets
* Description: Your Bitcoin is held by a third-party exchange or service.
* Example: Coinbase
* Risks: Subject to exchange hacks, insolvency, or regulatory issues.
* Use case: Used a lot by beginners (unfortunately) and traders, high risk for long-term storage.
2. Single Signature Software Wallets
* Description: Wallets installed on a device (desktop or mobile).
* Example: Nunchuck
* Risks: Keys are somewhat exposed to the internet. If the device is compromised and has no added security ie PIN number or 2FA funds can be stolen.
* Benefits: User has control but relies heavily on device security.
3. Single Signature USB Hardware Wallets
* Description: Hardware devices that connect to laptop/desktop via USB, storing keys securely on the dedicated device.
* Example: Trezor
* Risks: Very low risk of attack via the USB.
* Benefit: Significantly reduces attack surface compared to software wallets.
4. Single Signature Air-Gapped Hardware Wallets
* Description: Hardware wallets that sign transactions without ever connecting directly to a computer (air-gapped). Signatures are transferred via microSD card or QR code.

Firstly Guy, both issues have been resolved so no need to spend any more time on it.
I prob wasnt clear. 1st person tried his Green seed in Blue and got zero balance. His original issue was a 2FA thing that he never set up denying him access to Green, so I suggested restoring in Blue. He eventually fixed the 2FA.
2nd person tried his Cobo seed in Nunchuck and got a zero balance. He then tried it in Blue and this worked. His issue was it was the Cobo setup simply no longer worked.
I now understand its a derivation path thing but it surprised me because I thought most of these well known wallets use compatible paths. I have a pretty rudimentary understanding of derivation paths and thought they were only important to record with mu-sig setups.
Bottom line is its pretty horrible UX when a new user, or any user for that matter types their seed phrase in during recovery and is hit with zero balance. And were also never prompted to note anything other than the seed.
On the positive side when it happens again I'll be able to advise them better.

In the last few months I've had two newcoiner friends who had issues with @nprofile…hxm7 Green wallet and Cobovault. On both occasions their BIP39 seed phrase did not work when restoring on an alternative wallet. One tried @nprofile…v6rc which showed a zero balance, the other @nprofile…83ak which did the same.
Strangely the first was able to get @nprofile…83ak to work. The Green guy was able to fix his issue but withdrew all his funds because of this.
Anyone have any idea what's going on bearing in mind I'm 99% sure the words were correct and they weren't using a passphrase.

I just set up a @nprofile…v6rc wallet by first adding a Tapsigner key and then creating a wallet and finally adding the key.
