I tend to split out my views by interaction, which I think might be similar to what you’re doing already? When there’s an action on the page that isn’t the main page, it gets another view. HTMX slots into this nicely.

not using it and relying on my my editor and CI to catch things.
Two things I am enjoying about not using it:
- no faff around keeping versions of eg black in sync
- git-commit is fast again

I did exactly the same the other day. What really hooked me was using uv’s project stuff, where the Python version and the venv are implementation details, so I could rely on uv (probably still wrapped with a justfile) to sort everything else out for me.
When I was working at the uni, we built a justfile that made the venv an implementation detail, and I've never looked back.

environs[django] is my go to here. It’s django agnostic without the extra but pulls in classics like dj-database-url with it.

can you treat the venv as ephemeral and rebuild? Or is that onerous at your scale of project count?
