I used to frown upon relay feeds. At the beginning they were kinda garbage full of random quality content. Now it has changed. I like the trending relay feeds the most as they tend to surface good content from people I don't follow yet.
Never used follow packs. Why would I auto-follow a bunch of people I never heard of nor had ever seen any content from? If their content is good they will eventually show up on a trending feed.

Yet another way in which the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
3 months ago I had never used AI for coding.
Started using free gemini 2.5 credits. An AI that helps but also introduces bugs and complex code. Tried a month of GLM 4.5, also not that great.
Then payed the lowest copilot sub tier and tried Codex 5/Gemini 3.1. These really can speed up things. Not that great either. If you code by yourself you won't lose much.
Then like 4 days ago I tried Opus 4.6. Modafoca! This shit is leagues ahead. It can code whatever I throw at it and find any bug. But I think it burned all my remaining credits (~30%) in like 3 hours or so, don't remember exactly.
If one cannot afford Claude Opus 4.6, they are currently eating dust from other (rich) devs. Yes, I'm eating dust.

Também pensei no seguinte: os clientes que quiserem podem mostrar as replies que não são consideradas spam pelo relay (o relay filtra por padrão) e também, com menor destaque, mostrar o que pode ser spam, se usarem a extensão NIP-50 "is:spam" (ou "include:spam") numa requisição extra.

Digo se você não é popular e está respondendo ao Bob, por ex, sua resposta pode não aparecer p/ os outros.
Mas se o cliente de seus seguidores lendo essa thread além de buscarem por "#e": ["<nota do Bob">] nos read relays do Bob, buscarem tb nos write dos seguidores deles adicionando "authors": ["você", "outro seguidor dele"], aí apareceria.

Hipoteticamente mesmo se acontecer de você não ser popular, seus seguidores recebem seus eventos pq requisição com "authors" no filtro não é considerada abrangente demais. Então o relay não vai bloquear o envio dos seus eventos.
Filtros sem "authors" como de feed global aí sim ativa o anti-spam. Em replies também, mas o cliente de seu seguidor provavelmente adicionalmente vai requisitar com "authors" pelo menos as respostas escritas pelos seguidos por ele.

Vlw. Agora esperemos um tempin p/ ver se está funcionando.
Basicamente, a cada ~24h são elencadas as pubkeys mais requisitadas como sendo as mais populares. As postagens dessa pubkeys aparecem em filtros abrangentes como de feeds e notificações.
A ideia é aproveitar que o modelo outbox já faz com que seus seguidores ativos acessem o relay e "votem" em você simplesmente ao abrir o feed de follows e fazer REQ dos seus eventos. É claro depende do cliente incluir esse relay p/ requisitar.
O resto é considerado spam e pode ser acessado com NIP-50 usando include:spam ou is:spam ou se requisitado diretamente.

We were up but events were getting stuck. Due to a subtle bug there were ~240,000 jobs/operations to be processed and the number was only going up. Now the queue is being processed correctly, there's ~210,000 pending now after 15min. We'll be 100% back in no time!

What is spam?
Some think agents shouldn't start threads, others follow them. Who is to decide what is spam? The relay? Not the one I built.
With wss://relay.44billion.net I propose a brand new approach to spam fighting. Users automatically vote for pubkeys relevance when requesting their events. It's a popularity contest if you will, but having fake followers won't help you, I'm not looking at follow lists, this isn't WoT.
A popular account may flood your timeline with hundreds of "gm @npub180c…h6w6"s but by doing so it will eventually be unfollowed and lose their influence, unless it was a joke. The nuance is up to you to define.
Add it to your "write" relays (may add as "read" too), it's free. The popular you are within the relay's microecosystem, the more free DB space you get, and you get to show up on the global relay feed like the one available on Jumble.

(Re-)generating an app from a prompt needs to become very cheap and fast for that to become a reality. Sometimes things like z.ai make us believe using AI is getting cheaper just to then Anthropic release the next Opus version and kill our dreams. Multiple agents running top models simultaneously? A luxury.

Although a bit buggy, there's a very "normie friendly" login at http://44billion.net . It is as friendly as it can get! This is solved when people start noticing it.
Regarding relay-based feeds, I'm not sure if its a good UX needing to click to cycle through relay feeds. And it's very hard to enforce specific topics on a relay while keeping people actvely posting there. I think we need spam-free global feeds mixing events from client-curated relays known to being good at filtering out spam and supporting NIP-50 language extension (I'm in the impression that americans tend to think everybody speaks English) and a "sort:top" extension too.
