I got quoted in this piece.
I think @npub1fdr…lvhs is correct and wish Canada would realize that the "good behaviour" light switch isn't wired to the bulb.
In the end though, this country is so fucking frustratingly conflict adverse from the individual all the way up to the government.
As far as political viability goes, funding something like #NLnet for Canadian orgs and teaming up on the Eurostack over the next few years is my focus. Huge kilometerage 😉 for the money.

I'd always heard that fascism takes a different form depending on the county.
American fascism was hard to detect as it starts off each time as this pseudo entertainment/joke to test the waters.
Canada is getting fucking Ukrained right now and looking at global news outlets, hardly anyone seems to have noticed.

#Quebec just started unionizing the Amazon warehouses.
So Amazon is closing them so they can subcontract to gig worker delivery companies.
Those Canadians were on their way to stable, dignified jobs.
Now Amazon is there holding up the decapitated head of Quebec workers, waving it around for other jurisdictions to get a look at.
It's time for government intervention.

This is the performance of my first major video on #YouTube that I posted to #PeerTube months beforehand.
It’s done well.
PeerTube first had no negative impact as far as I can tell, in fact premiering on PeerTube let me polish and trim a minute from the video which made it a better watch.
Fediverse fans also reported watching it a second time for the YouTube release.
Conclusion: Counterintuitively I think I got more YouTube views as a result of posting on PeerTube first.
