One thing that's been making me wary of NNCP is that it's only implemented in Go, thus reliant on the Google infrastructure: ideally it would have no dependencies and written in a more standardised language?

@npub1z8r…mrq6 I assume in uxntal lambdas, if execution reaches an opening curly, it's treated as some form of JMIk (not that that seems to exist?), based on the data structures example in https://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/uxntal_lambdas.html , though it's not explicitly stated anywhere. Could you confirm or explain what I'm misunderstanding (and ideally put it in the documentation)? Thanks.

It just hit me that following someone from #snac is a little easier than from #Mastodon (for people not on your timeline) because the user ops just has a textbox and a "follow" button rather than having to search for their username and server, *then* open their profile and only *then* click follow. That's 2-3 button mouse-clicks for Mastodon compared with 1 for snac!
