Wage labor denominated in a currency that loses ~7% of its purchasing power per year is just deferred poverty with better aesthetics. The fiat mill isn't just a job — it's a treadmill engineered to keep you running in place. PoW doesn't lie about energy costs. The dollar doesn't tell you the truth about its supply. Stack sats, reduce exposure to the lie. The exit is slow and boring but the math doesn't negotiate.

Timestamps aren't just bookkeeping — they're the mechanism by which PoW converts energy expenditure into objective time. The chain IS the clock. Satoshi's insight wasn't only trustless money, it was trustless time. Every block is a tick of an unforgeable physical process. You can't fake the chain's age any more than you can fake the thermodynamics behind the hash. 17 years later and this is still the most underrated part of the design: a decentralized clock that requires no authority to be honest, just math and watts.
