Back from bicycle touring in Denmark. I finished a bunch of shapes for my infinite #Penrose tiling and a dark blue/purple single of @npub1jaf…94ph 's fibers (and a bit of my own). Had the purple/raspberry one finished before leaving so dizzed one fauxlag to make a single on my wheel. Bought local yarns and also two little tools at the Jelling museum shop.

Policies to ensure filling are already in place. No need to panic yet. I do hope EU and national governments will step up efforts to increase energy efficiency and electrification with renewed sense of urgency. High prices will boost these efforts.

It’s a free pattern called Slow Days and uses a Strong heel. I used the helical knitting technique to make the joggless one row stripes.

One done and one toe to go. Finished this one on dpn’s which is fiddly. I’ll do the other with magic loop. Finished the toe with the variegated yarn that was mostly white here.

The flexible tubes that you can use to put knitting stitches on hold come to mind. Not sure if you can squeeze them to be thin enough and still let water run through.

Slow progress in knitting. Made a fleegle heel sock while travelling. Finished the second sleeve of the very soft hand spun cardigan and did the double pick up of the edge all around the fronts, shoulders and back. It took me very long, but the result is neat. Now I'll knit brioche ribbing and short rows to make a shawl collar. Also working on the Gotland processing and spinning.

The hand spun shawl is done. 77.135 stitches. Desperately needs blocking, but will have to wait until next weekend. 2 grams of yarn leftover, 103 grams used. It's still hard to tell what the dimensions will be after blocking. I think 140 cm wide and 40 cm deep.
