Some developers spend 30-45 minutes writing a LLM prompt and tweaking it to get the desired outputs. I write an awk one liner to get data out of a 30,000 line CSV file, convert it to the desired format, and then generate a PDF and send it to the client, all in under 5 minutes. If you don't know what you are looking for and have 0 knowledge of programming or Unix CLI tools, no amount of LLM can help you. You'll just burn resources.

Google is so sneaky. This prompt inside Gmail gives you three options. The two most visible options (number 1 is 'Try it now' and number 2 is 'Continue') basically mean 'Enable Gemini AI to write emails.' The third option cancels it which is hidden well. Google, you could do better than this. This is a perfect example of a dark pattern. For those who want AI to write basic emails can enable it but there is not need to do this kind of "shady" stuff.

The main downside of Android is that some essential apps refuse to function when they detect a rooted phone or if Google Play Services are not working or installed. I believe there are workarounds for this in some Firmware/ROM. It's ironic that these apps, which utilize open-source technologies like Linux, k8s, Docker and MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL on their backends, restrict users from having a more open user experience.
