I did an experiment
I set up an 'empty account' on Facebook of a guy called Dave.
I did nothing with this account, followed no one, and clicked on nothing
In the first week, the TL was a few Ricky Gervais jokes and similar lightweight fluff
Then it moved to 'traditional British humour: only fools and horses, porridge as well as references to when Britain used to be great
Then, it was jokes about Muslim ladies
Ultimately, after four weeks, my TL had Reform adverts every six or seven posts and racist indoctrination every 20 or so.
My point is that the battleground is on social media because you just knew Reform were actively seeding other FB streams

Four #PalestineAction activists are to be sentenced with a “terrorist connection” despite never being charged with, or convicted of, any terrorism offence. The facts around this sentencing were hidden from the jury throughout the trial, meaning jurors had no idea that these young people would face terrorism sentences if found guilty on criminal damage charges.
These sentences are NOT accidental, they are part of a strategic effort by the UK government to be able to effectively deter whichever group they don’t agree with. This sentencing follows the unlawful proscribing of Palestine Action, but is technically unrelated to it and would take place regardless of whether the group remains proscribed or not.
If we do not oppose our government’s attempts to corrupt UK law, who will they choose to ban next? Trade Unions? Striking workers? Peaceful marches?

- Issues a retrial after a jury found you not guilty on the most serious charges
- Attempts to prosecute your barrister for telling jurors their legal rights
- Lies directly to the jury about their right to find you not guilty (jury equity)
- Calls for the arrest of multiple people outside your trial for holding paper signs
- Bans the press from reporting on the facts of the trial and sentencing
- Doesn’t take any action against ministers and politicians that prejudice your trial
- Doesn’t oppose media outlets who broadcast selective outrage during your trial
- Hides from the jury the fact that you will be sentenced as a terrorist if found guilty
- Sentences you as a terrorist without being charged with, or found guilty of, terrorism
- Receives a promotion immediately after the trial concludes.

#PalestineAction lawyer Rajiv Menon KC has been found not guilty of breaching Contempt of Court.
During the trial of the #Filton6 he advised the Jury that they could acquit the defendants according to the conscience. That directly contravenes the order placed upon the trial by the Judge Justice Johnson who explicitly reminded the court that such a thing must not occur. He also ordered that no information about the trial was to be mentioned until conclusion as that too would be contempt of court.
Rajiv Menon participated in the Stephen Lawrence trial. I am just a housewife.
