Hey Brad, I'm sorry to hear.
For what it's worth, my best friend got leukemia 2 years ago, and was able to fully recover. Although theres different types, I learned that the recovery rate for most of them is pretty high nowadays. It will be a tough year for your family, but hopefully everything will be ok in the end.

Clicking the link retrieves the same "looking up message"
Pasting ID in the search bar retrieves this thread (it's finding the id in your previous note)
Also, for some reason, the only notifications I have now is this thread.
Feel quite frustrated, I was bragging about how iris web was the best nostr experience so far. Guess the linits needed to be tested. Hope this exchange helps in any way.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do.
Step 1 - press notifications button
Step 2 - press one of the latest hellthread notifications in an attempt to reach the original thread
Step 3 - wait indefinatelly for "looking up message
This happens both in my mobile and laptop browser.

My notifications became unusable after the hell threads.
I can't even open the original thread to mute it, because once I click on the respective notification all I see is "Looking up message..." forever and nothing loads.

Yes I was careful to not mention Christianity. Still, any true decentralization supporter should, in my humble view, reject any sort of tendency towards centralization. Be it of faith or church. Just my two sats though. I'm interested in this subject and will have a look into your writting.

Hi Jimmy, you blocked me on twitter a while ago after I replied one of your tweets.
My comment was about the catholic church being one of the historically most power centralising institutions, that promoted colonialism and slavery, along with financing some european expeditions into africa that, according to Breedlove's "Masters and Slaves of Money" essay, even concluded with the invention of modern monetary debasement (Panos in Guinea Bissau).
Maybe it rubbed you the wrong way back then and I don't expect you to remember it, but it still does puzzle me how some bitcoiners can be so vocally supportive of the vatican while advocating decentralization.
Hope you can give me another shot at an honest conversation.

WoS Back online.
I use zap and muun. Zap connects pretty seamless to my node via tor (albeit very slow). Muun allows swapping between on-chain and off-chain sats, and it's non custodial.
Alby for in browser desktop payments (nostr) and WoS for mobile.

Nostr has motivated me to do give my node some TLC. I'm in the process of opening 3x 100K sats with the first 3 nostrichers that zap me 1000sats and share their node id via DM.

Can you implement a gif browser in the emoticon menu, twitter style?
Can't imagine how troublesome that will be given Nostr's architecture, but it would go a long way to make our feeds even more interesting.
Aside from that, great job guys, I'm really loving the UX so far, smooth and no apparent bugs or glitches. Haven't found any of the glitches I hear about with other clients. I'm using the webapp btw.
Keep up the great work, this is my new favorite place to hangout!

only used iris so far. I only used twitter web version, and iris provides just the same experience, except for the expected limited functionality, typical of a client under development. No bugs, no glitches detected so far!
