I get SO friggin' jazzed every time my big batteries hit 100%. It hasn't ever gotten old. They just hit 100% and I kicked on my S9, so I am mining bitcoin for free and will probably get 5 hours of mining before the output from the panels drops off enough that I'll switch it off. (Not at full output, but right now, I actually have no easy means to change the settings on my miner, cuz I am an idjit.)

Yes and no.
Zapstore has additional layers to nost - ify repositories. It's not a bad setup, IMO. I just don't need the extra complexity.
F-droid does a lot of interpolation and some things under the hood that some people don't like, but it is the largest collection of FOSS or FOSS adjacent apps so they are still useful.

That's... The point. Literally. You can do anything you like with the protocol. There never has been nor will there be consistency across clients. You *can* make it more consistent if *you* put in the work to make it so. (Running you're own relay and setting your clients to point to that instead of whatever other relays you've been using.)
Nostr DMs do suck, but they are getting better.

The issue is that they aren't and can't be, at last in part. The cameras are less odious than the device tracking. That works without the cameras and provides even more metadata than you can casually intuit. That works over quite a large range, so even if you aren't in view of the camera facing private property, they are still phoning home with all the device tracking data.
Run your own cameras if you must.

Oh! Right.
The navigation tiles don't match what needs to be done. They don't match up with anything I've ever seen before and this is not a good place to try to be unique. The aesthetic is good.
Also, there's no volume control for the voice guide. This is absolutely necessary.
The voice guide pronounces things very well, but is VERY disjointed in how it produces speech, e.g.:. Turn... Right... On XXX road in 500..... Meters.
I don't know of this can be tuned, because it is very disconcerting and annoying.

I always utilize three button navigation. The speed indicator is not rendering correctly, IMO, for this configuration. I really do like the design of the indicator and most of the nav screen.
I would like more zoom out when speed goes over 100kph.

"Exit the ramp" is terrible English. This should read "take b exit XXX," as the exit number from the interstate is most definitely part of the OSM data for that road.

As you can see, when I select one of the report types, the keyboard covers the text box. I can scroll it up to confirm what is typed before sending the report, but this is obviously less than ideal while driving.

This is on my return trip. The police presence I reported on the first leg of my journey did not trigger a warning on the return. Many of these kinds of divided highways have connections where police sit or construction and maintenance crews turn around. It would be better to have an alert for these kinds of roads show up both ways. If at all possible. (Waze does this a bit differently.)
Overall, it's very good. I'm still getting the voice repeating "starting on XXX road." Honestly, I'd just eliminate that all together.
Other things:
- The voice guidance is not relinquishing audio control correctly. I had to manually restart my podcasts after every voice event.
- 3km is much too far for a notification preview. Also, the voice navigation shouldn't be giving the next instruction immediately after the next section of the trip is made. This is confusing and not helpful.
-Both legs of my trip ended prematurely just after making the last turn. This left me with no guidance 750m from my destination in my way out, and 500m on my way home. This needs to be fixed.
