You keep saying "not for daily transactions". I never said anything about daily transactions, we have layer 2 for that.
My point is that if someone wants to save in BTC they shouldn't have to pay a weeks wages to have the security of layer 1.
I mean if it's cheaper to run a node than to do a transaction once a month something seems off.

The current atmosphere around BTC here on nostr on how to use Bitcoin is very reminisant of the Linux on desktop zelots of 20ish years ago.
You're a bunch of people in complete denial about how most people are willing to do things.
If you continue with this attitude; what we will get is someone like Google turning Bitcoin into a giant spyware honeypot just like they did with Linux when they created Android.
If you want people to have soverenty you need to make it easy, because you'll never make people change.

You need extra money so that you can save for a rainy day. Depending that the income you currently have will be around forever, or that you will have the ability to do it forever, is just silly.
