I expect to have three Fediverse accounts by the end of this. A general account on Mastodon so I'm not just screaming into a void, a mirror of that hosted somewhere in Buttfuck, Iowa as long as it's uncensored or at least doesn't block instances like Spinster, and this Spinster account for legacy, occasional updates and observations on The Issue.
Well four, including the one @Flick is putting together once it gets off the ground.

Right, again thinking of migrating to elsewhere in the Fediverse, but might actually have the energy to follow through this time. Previously recommended was No Agenda Social, which if it still exists seems tied to a podcast I've no intention of listening to. I would like to take the easy route out and go with Mastadon, but I'm getting the idea that it's not the sort of place you can say TWAW when the 'A' stands for 'aren't'.
Being Irish I like the idea of having "TheGab" after my name but that seems to be right wing Trumper space, similar with Rebel Base.

What on Earth, Europe or the UK is happening with Google?
The first image is from Graham Linehan, though the post from 2022 is no longer on Substack, I still have it a copy as I'm on the mailing list (something to consider there). The incendiary tag line "I participated in the harassment of JK Rowling" is an addition made satirically by Linehan or others, Pascoe never released a poster with those words on it, but still I was curious and wanted to know what she has said or where the image came from if there was another source, then I get a result like none I've seen before. I'm used to seeing 'right to be forgotten' notices, but a complete whiteout on results? I'm guessing that there may have been some legal action over the post which could have been construed to be slander, but there's something more going on, get the same thing just googling her name along with arbitrary statements in quotations gets similar results, I am confident no one has an injunction against those exact words, but who knows?
