December has returned… but it no longer resembles the month I once associated with warmth and joy. This is the third December we live through under relentless hardships.
In the past, December meant beautiful beginnings and sweet memories, but today its days feel heavy on the heart.
I clearly remember December 2023 when we were displaced in Rafah; illness never left my family, the cold was harsher than we could bear, and we didn’t have enough blankets or healthy food.
