No matter how Dems vote on this resolution, they split their constituency and lose votes.
If they vote for it, some will see them as trying to disarm a close US ally at a time when it's facing an existential threat from Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists and the entire Iranian military. If they vote against it, some will see that as supporting Netanyahu's horrific crimes against humanity.
Either way, Trump wins, Dems lose. Sanders knows that. It's never stopped him before.

Sanders is doing exactly what he's been doing throughout his 33 years in Congress: building his own political and commercial brand by hurting Democrats, thereby helping Republicans, knowing full well that he's hurting the people whom he's pretending he wants to help. In this case, Palestinians (and Israelis too).
He's trying to force a vote on his resolution, which provides a political win for Republicans who vote against it, and hurts Democrats no matter how they vote on it.

You're not American, and you have no idea how the US government works. But Sanders has been in our Congress for 33 years, pulling this same stunt the whole time.
I'll try to help you understand. Sanders knows that his resolution has zero chance of passing, let alone blocking any arms sales. So why is he introducing it? Why, 54 days before an election that could seal the fate of the Palestinian people, is he providing a political gift to Netanyahu’s closest fascist ally?

Here's our disastrously defective American political press, admitting to its own failure.
Donald Trump doesn't understanding anything about economics. He's cognitively incapable of comprehending how tariffs work, what causes inflation, or anything else that isn't a direct statement about his own greatness or worthlessness.
If the press were doing its job, American voters would know that.

That's incorrect. Florida allows felons to vote, if they have been convicted in a different state, and if that conviction would not prohibit them from voting under that state's laws.
In New York, where Trump was convicted, felons are prohibited from voting only while they are serving their prison sentence.
