I don’t claim to be immune—it’s a constant struggle to question the motives behind every message. I’ll go out on a limb here and say that in principle, yes, you could construct a #NixOS system that runs entirely in RAM with no persistence, but it’s not the way the system is designed. #Tails’ “RAM-only by default” is a core #design philosophy; NixOS’ philosophy is “reproducible stateful system management.”
