for a long time i ran parmanode as a easy way to get electrs, core and mempool running on a linux desktop but was so put off by all of the nonsense messages in that software
then using claude code terminal I did a seamless compile and configuration of core with electrs and mempool with a custom dashboard to see status and connection urls took less then 1 hr
claude code makes linux user friendly

a treasury bill backed stable coin that circulates feeling like tether can have its interest rates for stable coin loans set by the market and supply dictated by demand of the market
treasury can issue as many treasury bills as the market makers of the usd stable coin can absorb
the treasury becomes directly in control of the interest rates of its treasuries and and can mandate low interest rate payments to stable coin issuers who just collect interest.
banks keep the stable coins for depositors so they can issue loans and use the stable coins as "reserves" rather than fed bank reserves.
the US gov doesn't need to abolish the FED and can instead make it irrelevant
also they get to directly export inflation worldwide via their treasury bills which back the stable coins and have full visibility into capital flows
this also eliminates the euro dollar system by replacing it with a stable coin based system
then many counties ban stable coins, then they fight the US and eventually we get to hyperbitcoinization

right now the FED issues the federal reserve note and it circulates as paper currency.
each bank has their own ledger currency that is supported by federal reserve "bank" reserves + other assets
we are witnessing the treasury directly attack the fed and use stable coins as a new "treasury bill backed" currency.
this will be a slow grind but an end to bank reserves and federal reserve notes.

yeah the engineering mindset of logic and measured results is the greatest training. some get it by studying logic and philosophy or a biological science but it is lost in most degrees that just teach a set of rules and don't ask why the rules exist

i still tell nieces and nephews who are smart to get an engineering degree so they have a base in first principle thinking founded on physics that doesn't change.
AI will be used in these jobs but won't take them away.
I tell the more physical minded relatives to join oil and gas companies laying pipe and working the fields in midland or get a master electrician cert so they can be a high earning tradesman.
AI isn't going to take physical jobs for a long time.
Most people with money struggles should excel in community college first before transitioning for the final two years in state school.
no one should start in a private school u less they are the most academically driven kid you have ever met. the risk isn't priced correctly.
took much doom about the future of AI. be smart and learn things that don't change that are based on physics.
