It's a good build, secondary weapons are mostly for parry, but arcane only really shines with hunter tools and dungeon gems found in late game so STR was mostly your main attribute. If you got Ebrietas Augur, you can cast on most enemies back and visceral them, it also parry attacks, which is great for you when you're using two hand weapons like Ludwig's or Moonlight.

Kinda, I mean modding in way it ends up in something totally different and replacing the OG experience of a game, Thomas the Tank is an example of that, but another one I could easily mention is people wanting to transform Zelda Ocarina of Time into Zelda Breath of the Wild, it will come to a time where people will say it's pointless to play the OG version of OoT.
Fast travel from anywhere to everywhere kinda kills the sense of adventure and being prepared for it, I woundn't use myself tbh.
