two nights ago a couple of people took the tram from the terminal to the rental spot and then proceeded to joy ride and do donuts in the lot because the keys are in the cars. They didn't try to take the cars out through the spikes they were just having fun with them. KC's rental parking lot is pretty big. I could see where they would have room.

the bus driver says she is the manager for the evening and just had to deal with the police as someone just tried to steal the tram bus! He couldn't get it into drive because there is a 'trick to it'. The officer thought something wasn't right and sure enough the imposter was trying to lift the bus!! We are driving away and she says.....

I had to drop a car off at KC's airport rental terminal at 12:30 AM. There wasn't a soul in their to scan the vehicle and send a receipt. The signs say to leave the car in the line with the keys in it. I didn't like this but I did it. I received an email a few minutes later. Must have RFID. I filled the tank right before dropping off but that did spend gas and I was dinged for that delta so the cars are phoning home too. Anyhow, I get on the bus to the terminal.....

#nfl my cousin had a chance to talk to new #Browns coach Todd Monken at a recent Cavs playoff game. He was really down to earth. THANKFULLY my cousin refrained from talking football - as Todd was 'off duty' (he's never really off duty now if he comes out of his house). So now we're definitely fans of coach.
My brother and mom saw Tay Tay & Kelce up close at the game too. They also are never off duty.

Cedar Point's Millennium Force rollercoaster got its seat belts shortened this year. It acts as the rides safe weight verification system. If it clicks you are good and the total car weight is within tolerances. Prosperous people have been getting to the seat, squeezing in, but the seat belt won't click and they get tossed off. Just drove by church tonight. The parking lot is pretty full. They are initiating the new Catholics tonight. The Priests LOVE when adults join. They don't really seem to care too much about baptising and confirming the children. But new adults? They love it. My hypothesis is that the new adult Catholics are as near to crazy as the priests were when the priests made their decisions to become priests. So the priests find a kinship with them.

On another note: My wife tossed a strawberry plant in a planter last fall. I saved it behind the garage. It's alive and I cut off the old stuff. I do believe I will get strawberries!!
I noticed wild ones growing in weird places, surviving horrible winter and I thought - hey - I bet these things will keep going. Let's see!

Remember Carl Sagan's Contact movie? I as ~25 when it was released. I believed in the Moon landing. I believed in the moon rocks. Just because my parents and grandparents and teachers said it happened. I was efiling my daughter's federal return. I screwed up her birthday (had my son's year accidentally). IRS rejected 2x. Fixed it and then they rejected it saying the AGI was wrong. I double checked the AGI. it was correct. I went to ChatGPT. It said efile again with AGI=0. It said that the system didn't find her AGI from 2024 so the system returns a 0 to the API that does the matching. Could be a sync problem. Could be an internal error. But it happens ALL THE TIME. Holy shit, it worked.

Other side of the freeway. I couldnt believe the green skies!! I got off the freeway after riding behind others with hazards going. And heading north one cell of the storm was right over my city! I could see it and the lightning. My son was home with the dog in the basement and my wife made it home ok. Holy spit we got hit again in Cleveland this evening. I left my orifice at 5:30 and half way to the car the Emergency broadcast system was blaring on my phone with a tornado warning. The clouds were ominous and it was green to the northwest (off the lake). I was looking for a funnel. As I closed my trunk this heavy burst of wind and rain hit.
