I created some items as a seller (bitcoin butlers) to sell self custody tools on your marketplace. You can see my items here as an example:

I go into a incognito window, sign up as a new account as a buyer, I go to buy this item:

I then see this message:
Error
Your payment was received but delivery to the seller timed out. Your sats have been credited to your wallet — please try the order again.
I click the wallet tab, so I can see my sats that have supposedly been accredited, I get this error:
Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading shopstr.market (see the browser console for more information).
So I go to the console and see this:

The t.amount.toNumber is not a function error means Shopstr's wallet UI is choking on the price format. My listings publish price as a string (e.g. "29.99") and Shopstr's code is calling .toNumber() on it expecting a BigNumber object.
Can you please a) help me recover the 50k sats approx b) help me fix whatever issue is going on with my account so I can reliably use your services?

Today we solved a problem: Conferences / Events want branded Bitcoin tooling, what they don't want is to get stuck with inventory, have to deal with shipping and put down all the capital to create it and move it around securely.
Solution is, create a portal so they can login, send them a couple of each items they wish to sell so they can showcase it, they drop-ship the items via us. Not stuck with any inventory, not excess capital spent on items that didn't sell or transporting and securing any of the merch.
Show a PoS which checks our inventory, sells it if it's in stock, gives a 2 month delay warning if it's not in stock so they can preorder but either way is warned about expected delays.
I expect this will take a few days to create and test end to end. The cool thing is, it can be for multiple companies at each event. For example, say SeedSigner, Bull Bitcoin and whoever else are at a Bitcoin Conference like BTC Mags, they can all individually be selling our merch with their brand and not have to lug it all around or get stuck with the excess, no up front capital needed other than buying the couple of showcase items.

Today I was lucky enough to catch up with two friends, @npub1fra…r6de and @npub1klk…x3vt
Fractal gave some really useful information pertaining to content structure, tools and flows, while also clarifying some details about Slip 39 and codex32, I have some fun coding tasks to hopefully get the codex32 details from Bails integrated into Sparrow and into SeedSigner. That will be fun learning making those pull requests. I'm going to put one of the codex32's on Fractals auction site, so keep some eyes open for that and also check out his website anyway, it's epic:

Max gave me some insight into the consultation space, a few tips to make a better platform, a few problems to solve which are, thankfully, quite difficult! He also gave me some advice and asked questions about our path forward, how to get there, and thinking about what our total addressable market is. We spoke about white labeling self custody kits and he helped me think through this further on the who and how to go about it. He will be joining our platform in a few weeks, and that will give us some volume and further insight into any pain points.

This week, we are finishing off the memberships, paid / free content, getting product images up for what we have in inventory and we also got some amazing inventory in the prototype phase in France which will be in stock within 50 days. We created a new block style system for content creation, where Butlers can add products from our store and get commission for any product added to cart, or bought directly, from their content. We also added CRM linking, which needs to be tested, but now I'm glad we didn't get too far in that area as I want to use better FOSS tooling and will look at Next Cloud and Oodo before going to far in the wrong direction.

Coming up, I will be working on the calendar system - how do I have it so the calendar works both ways, not just us pushing data to their linked calendar, but if they have updated calendars, how do their clients get notified with tame changes, or cancelations, in a privacy focused way where no third party gets access to all of the Butlers calendar? Is it even possible?
I'll also be tweaking the UTM system so the Butler can give master concierge links, or just links more broadly, to people who will work on client acquisition and get paid for the conversion. We currently have it set up for the Butler only to do that, so it should be a light lift.
We spoke about white labelling the whole platform as a service, which was what I was wanting to do for my Personal Trainer friend once I have ironed out all the kinks.. I'm considering whether to go the private route or to consider open sourcing it if I could land funding via opensats or HRF, or maybe I just put it on Geyser? Either way, I need traction first and to iron out all the kinks, so that's a down the line problem to solve. First things first, PoW to get all this content up and provide Butlers the tools they need to succeed.
Lastly, I will also be looking at adding other peoples E-commerce store, so it can be a drop down to switch between stores, and so that the Butler can add their products as a block in our blocked content system. I suspect it will be too much to do this, and will open ourselves up to too much technical debt, but we shall see.

Meh, non-kyc third party solutions for tiny amounts of sats is fine for many. Integrating everything with your sovereign tooling is still a bit of a nightmare for many to do in a private manner. Better tooling is coming around though, including what I see from your service :)

Thanks for the heads up! We're actually already running BTCPay via a VPS using Start9's StartTunnel - our home IP isn't exposed (AFAIK), the VPS IP is what's public-facing. The WireGuard tunnel to the Start9 handles the connection without Tor latency. The Lightning integration issues are just alpha growing pains with StartTunnel + LND/CLN, not a Tor problem. Appreciate the offer though - might hit you up if we run into config issues down the road!
Are you interested in helping companies or people setup sovereign payment infra? You may want to join as a Butler and offer those services?

Hey homie, appreciate the offer. The reason it's not as well configured right now is because I am using a start 9 server pure and their new feature Start Tunnel to have a public url for our BTC Pay. Because it's in Alpha, it's not playing nicely with LND or CLN yet.
For the signal reference, I tend to lean that way too to begin with, then if I get traction and demand to make something custom, worry about that then. It's the classic dev of wanting to solve harder problems more than it is implementing it xD

Today we are working on being able to have courses with documents and / or videos in them, where it is easy to restructure them. We are building this in conjunction with being able to have memberships, where your private chat is external.
The problem is, with an external private chat for ongoing support, how do you maintain who is in the group based on who is an active subscriber? If it's internal though, it's another reinvention of the wheel to have private chat groups. I'm investigating using NOSTR and white noise, but then are n00bs really going to use those tools? This limits the options for the private chat but perhaps that's the tradeoff, choose an external choice (signal / element / discord) and try to manually write down who is who in some spreadsheet and cross reference that with a userID to moderate the participation based on subscription, or use what I will build and have that automated.. another rabbit hole for me to potentially learn a lot of things but spend a lot of time for little in return for the butlers and clients? We'll find out.

Today I verified our fiat payments work for our concierge calendar, Bitcoin Pay Server works for our shop and I worked on Bitcoin Butlers Gift Voucher System 🎁
We just implemented a cryptographic gift voucher system inspired by @pardus79 (Bitcoin Pin's) Proof-Of-Gift - using Ed25519 signatures, similar to Chaumian eCash.

How It Works
Token Format: BB-NONCE-AMOUNT-EXPIRY-SIGNATURE
Each voucher is a self-contained cryptographic token that:
✅ Verifiable without database lookup - signature validation only needs the public key
✅ Unforgeable - Ed25519 signatures can only be created with the private key
✅ Double-spend protected - redemption registry prevents reuse
✅ Has built-in expiry - 12 months from issue, encoded in the token itself
✅ Change Tokens
If your voucher is worth more than the booking, you automatically get a change token for the remaining balance. Just like getting change back from cash!
Example:
Buy $50 voucher → Book $30 consultation → Get $20 change token emailed
