This pod doesn't present anything outside of standard Orthodox theology (John of Damascus, Seventh Council, etc.). It is coherent within that tradition. It does **not**, however, produce first-century apostolic evidence of *commanded or practiced icon veneration*.
- The New Testament still contains no command to make or venerate painted/carved images of Christ or the saints, and no description of the apostolic church doing so.
- The earliest surviving Christian pictorial art (Dura-Europos baptistery frescoes, mid-3rd century) functions as decoration and teaching imagery, not as objects of liturgical kissing, bowing, or proskynesis.
- Second- and third-century writers who address the subject (Irenaeus, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, Origen, later Epiphanius) treat the use of images in a cultic/religious sense as pagan and reject it.
- Claims of continuity rely on later patristic development, the Incarnation argument, and interpretive readings of Old Testament images (cherubim, etc.), not on contemporary first-century records of the practice.
The podcast strengthens the Orthodox *theological* case and the historical distinction they draw between idolatry and iconography. It does not supply the missing apostolic-era evidence that the practice was commanded or observed in the first-century church. The foundation remains the later tradition and the Seventh Council’s ruling, not a direct biblical or first-century historical mandate.

One more:
A client-side AI feature that hides/marks/veils lewd posts. Perhaps a slider in Safety which enables veiling adult content where it porn is level 1, and higher levels become more aggressive, veiling basic nudity and posts of sexual nature.

Re curse words: two asterisks might be best ** since no single curse-word is two characters in length; this will release the mind from attempting to guess which curseword it is, successfully fulfilling the intent of the feature request: to insulate the user from profanity without needing to mute entire posts or users, if he so chooses.

II. Mute handle for certain time interval: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months.
III. Generate thumbnail for videos displayed when autoplay is not enabled.
IV: Automatically generate web of trust once a quarter, or at least prompt when very old.
V. Allow quick gesture to mute specific thread, like a swipe to "throw away".
VI. Settings toggle for hiding gallery features.
VII. Settings toggle for hiding top-level anon/tor upsell link, or rework menu to make it less annoying/reduce noise.
VIII. Client-side AI which marks posts as AI generated content if detected with high confidence, also a settings toggle to mute/hide these posts, also a prompt asking to block big offenders.
Bugs:
- Searches often succeed after resubmitting 3 or 4 times.
- Various runtime Java errors for calling funcs with improper args (are you not using a strictly type safe dialect of java?)
Great job with Wisp and especially Dark Wisp. Some features you've shipped have been direly needed, like automatically looking into follower relays to gather their content, WoT+client-side AI to deny spam bots, delayed publishing with post preview and edit opportunity, Amber login, PoW on posts, scheduled posts and drafts.
This is a very impressive starting point. Wisp might be able to dethrone Primal.
