I'm in the camp that OpenAI doesn't much of a future. And it's a very big camp. I think even Altman believes this too and that's why he's pushing so hard for defense contracts.
The bubble probably will burst soon, but that won't stop AI any more than the .com bubble stopped amazon or ebay.
Google's slowly building out their AI offering without much attention. And they're doing it all with existing hardware. They're going to quietly take over as the top tier AI company.

I'm installing a dashcam in my van. The rear camera wire is a couple feet too short. I can cut across the ceiling in the trunk, but I can't think of a way to keep the wire from dangling. Velcro isn't strong enough. Has anyone come across this problem and have a solution?
I'd prefer not to re-run a longer wire.

They're noticeably better now. One of the few good things to come out of Covid. I was able to return a license plate in the mail. Last time I was there in person was getting my daughter's permit. Made an appointment, walked right up to the counter. The test took her 5 minutes and we were out in less than 20.
