Also, I have noticed something interesting trying to "cheat" some extremely hard sections before properly memorizing them by pressing both buttons at the same time, have you ever tried doing that? If you press don and ka at the same time, you actually get a hit in the first couple of times, but after that the game doesn't register the inputs and you get a miss. I wonder if the game has a small tolerance for panic mashing but you can only do it successfully a couple of times.

The writing in this game actually sucked, the more I think about it. The event that begins Arthas' downfall is presented as a dilemma where the path chosen was a paladin that was not corrupted up until this point becoming a callous utilitarian, which is absurd. A holy knight that lives for his vows of protecting the innocent would never even think of killing innocent people to potentially save more innocent people. Also orcs as le noble savages is lame.

Mitophile, I made a HORRIBLE MISTAKE
When I began playing this game with the controller, I changed the controller type to 3 because I thought it would be easier to press don and ka with both hands. Rhythm Festival has some 80 visible achievements/unlockables, but pretty much all the rewards are "Greetings" (speech bubble dialogues that shows with your Don-chan before an online match) and "titles" which are plates under your character with something like "Taiko master" written on it. You usually unlock outfits and mascots doing the story, the missions on the Taiko Land party modes, or getting crowns, you get a crown every time you clear a song for the first time on every difficulty mode, full combo and donderful combo crowns are worth more. I have not seen any incredibly stupid achievement like "get 1000 combo", it's usually much more common sense things. The hardest achievement I have seen that is not secret is to get 150 full combos, which will take a while but you get by just playing the game normally.
Anyway whatever content crazy achievements unlock is not worth the time and nerve wrecking effort, you are supposed to look at them and feel smart for not even trying. :mito_laugh:

I had the game straight up lag and skip frames on me these days. I don't know if you have this in the older versions you play there, but in Rhythm Festival you have all sorts of things happening at the bottom of the screen. In the middle of the song you will suddenly get a big sun rising, fireworks, a sea with waves crashing appears and so on, I don't even know if the trigger is some section of the song or your score/combo, you don't even look at it while playing since you have to focus on the buttons. I think I had an eternal furryfox window open while I was playing, and when one of those animations started the game lagged and skipped some frames.

yeah it must have 300ms latency instead of 30 or even more
I saw some Miku songs there that are not in Rhythm Festival that maybe I could play sometime but trying to go full autism on that website would be crazy
