Top is done. This is the style of quilt that my great grandmother made for all children born in the family and for all weddings. She passed away more than 30 years ago. I am the oldest great grand. What would be the youngest great grand is due in June. It is an honor to make this quilt. I love this style because it's okay to not have perfect corners or joints You are working with scraps of different types of fabric creating a unique tactile experience. It will be quilted with a simple embroidery thread hand tie.

I put my kid in public school for one semester in elementary school. They wanted to give my ants in the pants kid an ADHD diagnosis in school and I basically told them to fugg off. Kid is absolutely on the spectrum, but did not need meds and a special classroom. He just needed fidget spinners and calculus. Problem solved. He was back in private school the next year.
