Das sum serious computing. And even though I dropped windows 8 pro for Linux in like 2018 I'm still basically using it like I was using Windows 7 or XP. 😒 Every once in a while I feel like upping my 1337 h4x0r sk1llz but then I get lazy and fall back to how I've done things since Windows ME... yeah I was stuck with that before dad upgraded to XP. Oddly enough my first computing was like 3 or 4 using MS-DOS before they had even dropped Windows 3.1 and we didn't even have a mouse for a long time!

I wanted to like KDE but on two separate systems it crashed my computer so hard I had to boot from a rescue disc and pull all my files off then wipe the drive.
I've mostly stuck with the likes of XFCE, FluxBox, and LXQt since. Not quite ready to go full window manager like icewm or dwm. I did use a Pinephone with a mobile version of dwm for a while, though. Was weird sending texts with Vim.

I try the OTHER AI image generator I use... and it's so fucking slow it constantly crashes the tab, lags out, but then I close the browser and open my profile full of every other generated image again and there's the image it crashed on while generating it, and it crashes loading all the other shit in addition to the image I'm trying to click until I've closed and reopened the browser AGAIN until I can FINALLY right-click, save-as.

I, too, quit drinking years back when I decided it wasn't worth 15 minutes of happy place followed by 15 hours of misery. I was drinking so hard by then I was taking 4 shots of straight everclear in a row just to go to sleep quicker. I felt each shot coating the insides of my mouth, throat, and entire stomach walls with what felt like boiling water that just stuck to my insides for several minutes and I felt like a fire-breathing dragon. I learned to be careful with drinking too much, too fast. I once chugged a whole bottle of UV Blue (1.5 liter) with another full bottle of Blue Curacao (0.75 liter)... I still have photos of my bedroom floor covered in blue liquid mixed with chicken noodles.
I especially learned not to underestimate hard liquor. For some reason, any kind of vodka that even touches my lips causes me to immediately shiver-gag. Except for Smirnoff. I can drink Smirnoff like water. Selective naivety is the same as tactical libertarianism. These are just techniques employed by fundamentally dishonest people who do not care for real debate. The moment somebody tries that on you, just disengage and move on. They're not worth the time or effort.
An alternate name for this is the Alien Ambassador. They are role-playing as an ambassador from an advanced alien species that just arrived on Earth yesterday. They want to learn and understand current events but they (pretend to have) no knowledge of history, current events, or even normal human relationships, and you have to explain it all to them. It fits better for some, because a lot of them believe in Star Trek versions of aliens which are smarter and societally superior to mere humans (in their minds) and they act like it is so.
The hatchling represents the most quintessential progressive archetype and speaks volumes about a person's character. It's the full affirmation of every distracting aspect of the 'current thing', where the current thing and its further maintainance is all that matters. It's defensive ignorance.

I'm guessing the "rational man" archetype is going to be the one who claims to have a peer reviewed study to back up every fascet of their world view.
