This mirrors my experience. Long form content basically does not exist on iOS. AFAIK Nostur is the only iOS client that has a tab for it. And I never remember to check it unless I’m looking for something someone told me about.

I run rectangle on macOS, which gives me tiling similar to i3. I hate arranging windows with a mouse.
I use powershell on Windows, which gets me 90% of the way to a sane terminal, but I’m not disagreeing - both macOS and Linux have nicer shells.
Quit throwing shade at God’s WM. Plasma is good for you.

Yes. macOS is my favorite desktop OS. It strikes a really happy balance between easy, reliable, and still giving me access under the hood. Very different from "i" devices.

If you can tag a note without it being in the content, then the client needs to display the tags somewhere.

I’m not even a bitcoiner and this doesn’t make sense.
How am I supposed to know if that volatility is on the fiat side instead of the bitcoin side? Comparative value can change of either side moves.
This is why I don’t change the fee to my relay when the price of bitcoin changes - if this is our currency, the price is set in sats, not dollars.

I would recommend checking out Tailscale Funnel. It sounds like what you need, and they have a higher reputation for privacy, etc. Your IP will not be revealed.

I couldn’t justify it at this price when I have an iPad and Apple Pencil already. I just open OneNote and take notes.
That being said, if someone desired a device that could be used without connecting to a network, or didn’t have or want an iPad, then it *might* be worth it.
It’d be more worth it if it cost about as much as just the stylus does. Then it’d be an obvious buy tbh. At this price… I’d rather use paper notebooks.

I don’t in Rustland. Both @npub1xts…kk5s and @npub1acg…p35c would be opinions I would trust and endorse sight unseen on it though, and they’re both working on guis in rust right now, so both current and actually have PoW.
Imgui is the only one I’ve heard people I actually knew using. I’ve also checked out AreWeGuiYet? ( https://areweguiyet.com/ ) to see if Rust was viable for my job, and if you haven’t already, it might be a good resource.
In C++, the choice is Qt if your project is of any size and cross platform. There is no other choice that comes close. That being said, I hate it with a passion as powerful as 10,000 suns. And I still use it.

I use SuperMaven for code, and Gemini Advanced for my docs. Haven’t tried Claude yet, but I’ve heard really good things.
Gemini is surprisingly good at anything to do with documents and writing. I love asking it about docs in my drive. Very good at making docs queryable.

I think my favorite part is how she doesn’t botch stuff when I stutter. Like setting a reminder earlier. I stuttered twice and she nicely ignored me and edited it out. Very very big improvement.
Email summaries are nice too. Haven’t used the writing stuff a lot yet.

I certainly don’t have any experience doing UI in Rust. Which kit will you use? I believe the clients I’ve seen in rust are using imgui which is immediate mode?
That’s also a newish paradigm for me (personally). I came up on WPF and Qt. I’ll be following your progress if you keep us up to date on how it’s going.

Me and my wife are simple people. The old gender roles please both of us, and we’re both the type of people who like to have a ruler to measure how we’re doing.
I’m one of the few online though, who will 100% die saying it isn’t for everyone, should not be portrayed as such, and might not even be for me and my wife forever. People are different and change over time.
It was just easy and natural (for US) so we talked and agreed this was how we’d do the first few years. 🤷‍♂️
