Fica, mas me pergunto as vezes: vincular uma identidade “fixa” com zaps que podem ser pesquisados e associados em qualquer momento da história (em quanto os relays permanecem ativos) oferece uma vantagem desproporcional para a Receita. E só entrar em profilestr.com ver a quantidade de zaps recebidos para contrair uma obrigação por ganho de capital. Tal vez se tiver uma isenção para micropagamentos… Basicamente tem a vida toda para cometer um erro de doxing.

That’s a very good point. Modern social media is highly anti-social, it prioritizes signaling to the world your status (followers) instead of actually interacting with other fellow human. So anti-social that people who get somewhat relevant (be it Nostr or elsewhere) use it as a one way communication channel, posting without reading nor interacting with comments. Very strange thing to normalize. But here we are… 😆

Enabling a feature does not automatically translates to use. Use depends on users willing to use it. In LATAM might be a different story. In general HODL/speculative philosophy is a problem. Indeed AI might have “eaten” software, most interfaces will change, most might get substituted by a consumer chat bot that integrates previous SaaS features but we will keep wanting a social network and the little circles with “people”s faces and comments, at least for a while. Adoption its not really currently happening at Nostr, but we might have a second chance.

That’s a great concept to stick to: “Meaningful interactions”. If we could measure such a subjective thing, Nostr would be at the top, i am sure. Cannot talk mich about BlueSky or other alternatives perceived as similar. But indeed I agree the quality of interactios here is high, unfortunately in network effects quantity is also relevant but here we are, still keeping the protocol alive. Have a great day!
