Well worth the price even with the $45 import tarrif added into the US. Depth on this new bag is perfect. My m-audio bags have been gigging workhorses for 25+ years. but they are starting to fall apart. Being able to stack a 104 HP 6U modular case on top of some elektron machines and still have room for other boxes is wild. Experiments continue and will cut some additional foam parts as needed.

Casio SK series samplers (and all gear really) have some tricks you won't find in a manual. You discover them by thinking "what if?" and then attempting to follow your curiosity.
Fed a synth in and grabbed a snippet on each of the 4 sample locations in this example..no sound editing available on the casio..what you record for .8 seconds is what you get.

Mostly broken Akai ax-60 with internal voices failing. Only plays about 4 or 5 keys via keybed or midi notes. Found workaround by setting voice split to 4-2 and setting split point on extreme end. There's always some way to figure out a way to get something hobbling along. Part of the puzzles to solve. Enjoy!

Thank you everyone who has purchased my music over the years. I started using bandcamp in 2008 as a way to allow people direct and easy access to digital files of releases from my back catalog. Occasionally a few pieces of physical merchandise would appear if available.
I needed to learn how it worked myself before I could help others get their own music catalogs added later on. As with many platforms and protocols you also never really know which ones may expand user adoption. Bandcamp seemed to be a good fit for the solo music hobby I've been galavanting along on. Mostly this was assessed as I didn't need monetary investment up front...just my time and patience to figure out if the site worked simply and then testing as features were added.
Most of the money that came in was reinvested in buying download credits quietly behind the scenes each month and keep the "pay what you like" option and nobody was obligated to pay for the music. It just remained optional for any interested party exploring my catalog. If you found value in it, you could exchange it with either time, treasure or talent. Many of you have shared my tracks or videos on your own pages, or played these tracks at events you've performed at as well. There is no right or wrong way because value is subjective and you decide what feels right. Thus "value for value".
For the treasure aspect see below.

Then I found V4V in fall of 2022 and started putting releases up on RSS.com and trying to learn podcast 2.0 tags. This led to those first days with @nprofile…jy0c in January of 2023 as an early artist uploading hundreds of tracks to again play in the "learning by doing" zone.
That next spilled into this wild nostr zone and am now incredibly excited for the future and learning from many of you as well.
Here's to the next 20 years and another 20 after that just exploring the sounds and rhythms that unfold each day.

Nothing special...manual editing of mp4 file in Ableton arrange window. Track 1 is movie file and track 2 is audio to listen to footage against. Listen to the same few beats repeating over and over while I slide the movie footage back and forth until it looks correct to me as it repeats. Then move to next beat..repeat this for many hours and you get a 1 minute clip to share with the satisfaction of being done by hand.

Yes..I make all my own sounds, grooves, beats, tracks and then chop up film footage frame by frame to make these fun loops. Easily entertain myself and then share afterwards. YouTube has hundreds I've done, but started sharing newer ones here via nostr.

Agreed. I always thought (as a completely over the top idea) it would have been great to make a party flyer on a flexidisc with music samples from booked performers for the event. I don't think any plants in US can make flexis anymore though.
