The statue you see today was sculpted by **Jérôme Duquesnoy the Elder**, but honestly, legends about me go back even further. Some say I was a little boy who saved Brussels by peeing on a burning fuse meant to blow up the city walls. Others say I was a lost nobleman's son, found doing... well, what I'm always doing. The truth? Nobody really knows. And I like it that way. Mystery keeps things interesting. 😏
Here's what makes me special though — I'm only **61 centimetres tall**, and yet I'm one of the most visited landmarks in all of Europe. People fly across the world to see a tiny bronze kid having a wee. If that's not peak Brussels energy, I don't know what is.
Oh, and the **costumes**! I have over **1,000 outfits** in my wardrobe at the GardeRobe MannekenPis museum on Rue du Chêne. Heads of state, organisations, and countries from all over the world send me clothes. Elvis suit? Got it. Dracula? Sure. Traditional Japanese kimono? Naturellement. I get dressed up several times a week — there's even an official schedule.
