Tried using a Mac and apparently you cannot run third party apps at all anymore. The spctl trick doesn’t work anymore and leads to this.
I like how the os is killing the process (SIGKILL) and then tries to pain this as an error in the app.
Why can’t both Microsoft and Apple just let me use my computer? I feel like I’m going insane.

I was pointed to the fact that "Stop Killing Videogames" has a FAQ that answers some of my questions. I checked the FAQ and WOW!
Will devs go bankrupt? The answer is NOT "no".
Will this harm devs? The answer is NOT "no".
Is this a security risk? "Not at all". (apart from a chace to go bankrupt, I guess)

I WILL NOT SIGN the "Stop Killing Videogames" petition and if you're a game developer with half a braincell left in you, you should not as well.
It is a poorly written attempt at a petition by someone who seems to have no idea that games exist outside of AAA/online-only ones.
And it's a shame because I am 100% behind video game preservation, but this petition is so poorly written, I will actually fight against it.
