Why wouldn't you have these functions? asking for a friend..
In saying that, from a normie perspective I used Damas for a long time on my ipad and couldnt really get lightning wallet to work without a fair bit of friction etc.

Heya,
One of the phones is a SM-A305gn and software version is 10.. is it maybe because so old?
Also I’ve now tried on two galaxy a54 5g phones model sm-a546e but they both have 14 or newer android versions. One of them just downloads the file but asks for either “Samsung health”, “google” or “google wallet” to open.. no other options.
The second just goes straight into downloads folder but won’t instal or execute.. is that just because it has bad apk installer or something?
Lol sorry for info spam.. honestly no drama if you have limited time, I’ll doing some searching once I get bit more time.

I’m not sure if that would have any benefit to you or pull away from your core focus?
As songs play the image on the phone can be your art or advertising your products. And if people want to purchase they can buy via the app. Stream sats etc?
Dunno cause sometimes things sound good but maybe not practical.

I like the email analogy however there is a mention of the word “Nostr” which i believe is introduced to the reader seemingly from out of nowhere. Is there a way to either rephrase how that’s introduced or drop it out completely?
In a strange way I’ve only just realised the nostr word or concept will become lost over time. People will just be on something like Ditto and not even realise how it works. But I guess a lot of you already know that lol

What I ended up doing today was ask a few friends to use their phones to go through the process. They have never heard of nostr, one uses iOS and the other android. I did just have to give them the web address to speed the process because they don’t use nostr.
We verified the link via hash cert.
I was noting down the few hurdles we faced but in all fairness it was really just some minor things like:
- clicking the “verify apk” button first time returning us to the Home Screen
- the “download” button, looking like it was downloading but doing nothing.
We updated one phone and that maybe helped because it was fine after that.
BUT what i actually learnt from this was both people were concerned at what would happen when we hit the download button. It took a bit of convincing them it was safe (I explained the verification process) but I think they only did it because they trusted me not some numbers.. that would probably pass over time once they got more familiar.
They had more questions about security and who or what stops their device getting hacked, which is (naively) not what I expected. They both agreed they liked the fact apple and play store “vet the apps”. I’m interested in your thoughts on this.
If you get this far.
So I’ve noticed on my personal android phone, the zapstore page is super buggy as compared to my friends phones. And I can’t seem to download the zapstore ap. All good 🤙

The Wisp Ap on zapstore gave me a few further thoughts on this.
When first downloaded, wisp greets us with a page showing the developers and options to “follow” them, as well, follow others… and this part has a “follow 0/5” to continue component. Which is essentially an achievement mechanic.
Reaching 5/5 follows then let’s the user move forward and is basically the beginning of the gameplay. Could be continued with first post or first zap but not limited to this. Add some dopamine animations or badges like you mentioned and now the user can be shown all that nostr has to offer.
Ummm I’m also not suggesting wisp gamify this ap! It was just the timing of it for myself to see it could be done.
Im guessing this has already been done, id be grateful full for the link! It would be cool to see the ap show it’s users how much ability this ecosystem has.

How do I as a pleb go from being able to:
Write my first post, get my first GM, follow a few highly trusted people @npub18am…p424 @npub1m64…uaks ,set up my relays and find the top 10 posters. To learning what zaps are, make my first zap, TRUST my first link to @npub10r8…t2p8 , sparrow wallet, pay for a vpn or buy a cold wallet with BTC etc etc. (can go to the moon with achievement ideas)
So much cool stuff on this platform but it can be difficult to find or trust.

Wait drinking games use dice as well as MUD games. The dice can be seen by other people in the chat..

A decent “Dice rolling” app would be simple but useful for a lot of folks who play dnd etc.
So D6 up to D20 (D21 😋)
-Choosing different dice skins would be cool
-different locations or backgrounds to roll the dice (forest, coffin, open mouth, camel toe)
-on D20 when a one or twenty is rolled you get sound effect
Different dice materials like wood, or steel and the behave differently when rolled)
