We could debate the 'all about self-interest' . Not a position I hold personally. There's economic theory, a science, and socio-economic theory which tries to marry the sciences (including sociology) with psychology and a hefty input from the philosophical and metaphysical disciplines. Possibly true in the short term but if the 'reset' is hard wired into a continuing 'relationship' I'd bet on the EU gaining over the medium / long term. i My European friends are smarter and better negotiators than anyone from the Westminster Village ii Little England needs the EU more than HMG etc acknowledge.
