Well, folks, here you go! All dressed up and ready for my big part. Funny story though. You notice I am wearing a double breasted jacket. The rest of the bridal party has standard jackets. When the groom called to confirm things, DB jackets were listed. He didn’t want them and had them change it. My efficiency apparently thwarted things as I had gotten fitted already and the change somehow never made it in for mine. It isn’t a wedding if something doesn’t go wrong, right? Hopefully this is all!

From my walk this morning. The tree in the second pic is truly wonderful. The pic doesn’t do it justice. But there are deep red, orange, yellow, and still some green leaves. Isn’t nature amazing?

Matilda was sleeping downstairs on her bed. All of a sudden, she was yelling and making her way upstairs. Tina and I were both in our respective rooms, so I’m guessing she woke up and was lonely. She came into my room, looked around, then plopped herself in my recliner between the arm and a small box that was sitting there. She shot out like a canon, however, upon hearing Tina open a box downstairs. 😂

I’m currently waiting to get stuck with the flu and Covid vaccines. Was going to go for the trifecta and get the shingles vax too. But they highly recommended that I come back in a couple of weeks for the shingles poke. I’m fine with that.

Matilda was reclining on the couch across the room when I opened a bag of Snyder’s of Hanover pretzel rounds. She came tearing over to me thinking I had something great to share. I did find a small broken piece and offered it to her. She sniffed it but didn’t take it. I believe she was disappointed.

The columns on that do move around, and she didn’t realize it when she took the pic. Oh well. They’ve been righted since.

Happy Caturday! Our first night went about as expected. Once about every hour, she would meow a bunch of times. Clearly her schedule and ours don’t yet mesh. She did lay in bed with us for a little bit though. And she finally used the litter box. And boy did she! OOF!!! Currently raining, so we’ll be able to spend some quality time with her. We believe this is her “whatchu talkin’ bout, Willis?” look. 🤣

All is not lost today though! For those of you that have seen my pinned post over at the whale site, I do a first day of school pic each year. I usually will post it on the first day of school for the district I am in. That would be next month. But when I was in Hawaii in May and visited a friend from HS, I asked her if she wanted to partake. Obviously, she did. And since the first day of school there is today, voila!! Enjoy!

Okay… I can’t wait all the way until next Wednesday. So, a little #LegoWednesday on Friday! The packaging on these large Technic sets is amazing. I’m pretty sure half the cost of the set is the box itself. The first pic is the cover. Once removed, you see an image of the actual car. As you pull the flaps open, it reveals the Lego version of the P1.
