The way we categorize generations is too broad when it comes to identifying and addressing the issues various age groups are facing. Gen-Z is anyone currently 13 - 28 years old, yet the struggle for a 21 year old today is much different than a 28 year old. We don’t even know what things will look like for today’s13 year old once they reach adulthood. The world is changing too rapidly for a 15 year window to offer helpful insights.

You are certainly not alone in this line of thinking. The problem is, the misconception that brick and mortar schools have a monopoly on those aspects of education and socialization. It’s admittedly more work to find those environments, but in my experience, has been more than worth it.
My indoctrination comment was a bit tongue in cheek - while public school will offer exactly one version of how to understand the world, we have been quite intentional about teaching our children *how to learn* rather than attempting to sell them our worldview. This is discussed extensively in the episode and my book.

Every American and much of the world has heard the name Charlie Kirk. His assassination is impossible to ignore. Absolutely devastated for his family, and can’t imagine the impact this will have on his young children. It has been comforting to see the outpouring of support for his family from the President down. But I’m stunned and disgusted by the celebratory responses that are circulating.
