You must have many chances to approach it.
Your finger approaches slowly to it multiple time.
First its legs then its wings...
Give it its favorite foods each time it allows your touch.
Finally you can hold its body making it your friend.
That is how I made my fly friend today. It doesn't fly frequently now. Its survival instincts seem stop. My little friend seems like stay more in my laptop and do nothing. It likes mostly the exit of hot air. But one of its eyes is always on me.
I think this approach applies to other animals which need touches.
I am glad that I am the first human friend of the fly, maybe its only friend. I am glad that we are friends. I am glad that it doesn't mind me; that it is freedom; that it can fly.; that we make a bond in the deep cosmos. I want watch movie with with my friend. I want feed my friend.
How I can mind that it is just a fly. My poor friend cannot decide who it is by itself. I am the more powerful and advantageous one. It gives up fly for me. Our communications are pure.
