To znamená jediné – dnešná populácia Maďarska stojí najmä na pôvodnom obyvateľstve tejto oblasti, nie na pôvodných dobyvateľoch. Rozdiel, ktorý dnes vidíme, je predovšetkým jazykový, nie genetický. Dejiny strednej Európy sú príbehom miešania národov – a realita je často iná, než jednoduché príbehy, ktoré sa tradujú.
