Why so little sour cream? :MEOWDY:
Ahoy there frens! Life has been really busy lately, but this weekend we processed around 1.6kg of apricots from the tree at our allotment to make jam. The set was a little less firm than I'd like, but considering no artificial preservatives and home-grown apricots, I'm super pleased with it! :meow_bread_peek:
Will be giving jars away to neighbours and frens, plus eating it on toast, with yoghurt, and anything else I can think of!

Looking good! Will upgrade soon as it's out!
Yep, I actually source a few nostr accounts for Visor OSINT, but very selective. There is way too much slop (but one could say the same for many other social protocols).
I love to hear that! Really is something I am looking forward to, the v2. Do continue to keep us posted!
7000 XMR ~$2.7M has been exploited and drained from Retoswap via a Haveno protocol flaw earlier today. Sheesh. :TheVoices:

This is close, and what I'm using these days, check @npub1xmr…wsfv!
Keys are server-side only. Has web UI as well as native Android front end.
Honestly I feel like the negative reactions are a bit overblown.
Personally, I'm going to use NIP-46, so that's what I'll continue use. Let other clients exist in whatever form the dev chooses. Normies would've never secured their keys anyway, let's be fucking real folks.
Choice is always a boon.
@npub1utx…50e8 is right, why repeat the same, when new audience acquisition mandates trying something new? Something that perhaps doesn't fit your opsec profile, but is perfectly fine for someone new coming to it all?
Just my 2 sats. GM, btw!

That might be it! If it synced through my "other" public relays that might work normally. For example strfry allows any KINDS (unless you specifically blacklist them). I'm not sure what you're relying on to sync, but that might be helpful to fallback to their regular write relays perhaps.
Absolutely bullish news for the nostr ecosystem! :popCat:

Update: so I added wss://nos.lol to my DM relays, and then it immediately worked!
So I guess the issue is indeed, haven does not support this event (at least not out of the box).

Sure I will try that. I did just try to send you a testing DM from my desktop (which appeared to work, at least no errors were shown).
I will reset it in a few minutes and try again, thanks!
I haven't tried sending messages yet actually, I setup the DM key when you introduced this new feature, maybe a few weeks ago? But haven't used it at all, so if I need to re-generate a key that's okay too (I won't lose any convos). I will try to send a message.
Just trying to figure out if I did anything wrong.
The only DM relay I have is my haven relay (the /chat endpoint), do you know if that is supported?

No, I don't! That's what I'm stuck at right now...
Hey @npub17n4…fyh9 @npub1syj…f6wl! I'm trying to figure out the new(ish) DM encryption system you've implemented, but I seem unable to sync my key across devices? I believe I have it on my desktop, but my mobile is stuck waiting for a key, and I don't seem to see any notification to share the key as mentioned in the screenshot here...
Am I doing something wrong?

DEX is literally the only relevant future. When CEXs have started integration with DEX liquidity as they've all done in the last year, it's clear that even they know their game is up.
In every single project I've ever worked at, over the long term, CEX listings have never led to anything good.
KOLs and "advisors" will always say you need deep liquidity, so they can dump their bags clandestine on your community. MMs will be predators enriching themselves while demanding endless tokens and cash for "MM liquidity and services", CEXs will try to hold you hostage threatening delistings.
Fuck'em all. Not needed.
I feel the same.
My wife takes interest but my friends and other family definitely do not. I've accepted that. I accept that my wife, not being at my desk for the 12-16h grinds I do every day, is incapable of understanding all the nuances of what I'm doing every single day.
Part of the solution is as you say: just understand that's life, and do what you believe in. Don't let anyone's lack of interest stop you--after all, you said it brought you financial success... didn't need them to be interested for that, amirite? :CatNerd:
I had no idea they exited... dang. :sadCat:

Seeing a lot of talk about #Hermes vs #OpenClaw.
Study the difference between front-loading overkill context (Hermes), and just-in-time (JIT) context loading (OpenClaw). The reason Hermes "just goes off and does it" and OpenClaw goes back-and-forth asking questions is all down to Hermes front-loading and consuming tons of tokens upfront, often needlessly.
TokenBurnMaxxing versus fine-tuning. Once you fine-tune, they end up kinda the same. ⚖ You can make OpenClaw front-load like Hermes. You can make Hermes JIT like OpenClaw.
There are sandbox/toplogy/infra differences which may push you towards one or the other, but in terms of general agentic behaviour which 99% of peeps are looking for, you need to watch your tokens and not overburn them needlessly IMHO.
Just my two sats. 🤷

#VISOR #OSINT update: no project of mine is complete without a Quake-console CLI terminal interface! :meow_bongo_keyboard:
I keep getting asked for VISOR access... so like... I might make it publicly accessible... 📰👀
News hits different when it's visually displayed geographically, and linked based on context to various places.
I initially made this for myself, but many peeps I've showed it to seem to think it's neat and have asked me if they can access it too. First stage would be open access. Far down the line may be open sourcing it, but it's a bit of a behemoth and sprawls across quite a lot of services to tie it all together.
Sharing is caring, I just gotta figure out how to pay for hosting & maintaining it all if it's gonna be public, lel.

VISOR update: my personal #OSINT engine has been developing in the past weeks. Looking and feeling great, and I don't need to check any other news sources anymore. WETH on Aave's Ethereum mainnet market have been unfrozen.
Utilization is still at like 100%, so no, you can't withdraw. lel.

Too bad they cucked the interest rate curve on WETH so it's only like 4.3% APY. Under normal circumstances you'd be printing 12-15% APY I reckon at 100% utilization. I understand why they done it tho.
I quickly withdrew my stables when the exploit occurred, but I'm of half a mind to put my stablecoins back in there, over 13% APY right now. Definitely risk not worth the reward, but I am a degenerate after all. :MEOWDY:

Lovely! The grapevine looks absolutely amazing! I planted one many years ago on our plot, and it's pretty well settled now, the grapes tend to get better year on year.
Raspberries do have a tendency to run though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually run over to a sunnier, more ideal spot! :roflol: At the same time, you could always transplant them... they are pretty tough plants!
Oooooh, great to meet a fellow cat & gardening connoisseur! :MEOWDY:
Have just given you a follow, and yes typing with paws is hard! :meow_bongo_keyboard:
You know, we have this same issue with plum trees and greengages... at our #allotment the greengage keeps running roots and sprouting, up to 5m away! It's quite troublesome to dig them out. But these are older trees which we inherited and the fruits are lovely. At home we keep our plum tree in a massive planter so we avoid that issue, but I do think they have a tendency to go forth and multiply! :roflol:

Yes, we had the same issue. For trees, patience is key. Took quite a few years before it settled, but now that it is, year on year it's producing more and more flower spikes. Such a beautiful tree!
I didn't know you could eat the flowers, that's great to know! May try that sometime!
