London-based startup KAIKAKU.AI has unveiled Epicure, an AI project that condenses 4.14 million recipes into a 2MB file. The multilingual model, developed by Josef Chen and Jakub Radzikowski, maps 1,790 ingredients using high-dimensional mathematics. This approach prioritizes structural data accuracy over resource-intensive generative AI.
Epicure functions as a "coordinate table," representing each ingredient with 300 numerical values in a culinary space. This allows it to calculate ingredient interactions based on cultural context and chemical composition. The model is notably smaller than a high-quality MP3 file.

yea i sort of left unsaid but insinuated that you deploy a fork of the client as well, with the default relay set to whatever yours is.
a mini version of catallax tuned to your preferences and relays could essentially be embedded in a project's homepage under a "bounties" section.
now that i'm thinking of it, a url param that sets default relays on load would be a nice change that would allow easier sharing of a particular relay's tasks.. but this is only supposed to be a reference client for the fundamentals, not a fully-featured product 😬

Jonathan G. Mackinnon published the first issue of MacTalla, the WORLD'S FIRST Gaelic-language newspaper -- not in Scotland, but right here in Cape Breton.
It ran for 12 years from Sydney, keeping the language alive for tens of thousands of Gaelic-speaking settlers whose ancestors had arrived on ships like the Hector starting in 1773.
Nova Scotia was once so thoroughly Gaelic that in 1920, a petition signed by 5,468 people across 230 communities successfully pressured the province to approve Gaelic as an official school subject. That same year, the Scottish Gaelic Society organized in Sydney, eventually leading to the Gaelic College in St. Ann's.
