the sky was white. it looked like it was extremely overcast and it was very foggy or very hazy looking. the air smelled dirty, like metal. sometimes it smelled like smoke, but it wasn't a nice wood fire / campfire smelling smoke.
the sunsets were pretty because of this...
setting up your own backend agent is possible on Buzz. it just takes some tinkering. i assume this will come #soon with a pretty GUI and binary.

how long until Anthropic or OpenAI builds a Buzz competitor? from their perspective, it only makes sense for them to do this. they'll want people to continue to use their agent harnesses and they'll want to mine user data. the key question though, will they build on Nostr like Buzz or will they build a centralized and controlled alternative? teams want to build together collaboratively. i think it's only a matter of time until more catch on.
you can use goose, which is opensource and lets you use mostly whatever model you want.
you don't need to use an email. you can login with nsec.
you don't need to use their infra to setup a relay. if you do, you need an email. if you want to setup your own buzz relay, you can do so and then point your app at your relay that you deployed.

oh. i didn't see any of that. after installation and login with nsec i was prompted to choose the harnesses i had installed or they were auto detected, such as good, claude, codex, etc. perhaps it's something mac related then? i have only tried on linux as that's the only system i have.

i know. i've been wanting to come for 2.5 years, ever since the very first SEC-01. it's just so hard for me with a family. i can't leave them for multiple weeks at a time. i could perhaps bring them, if i could find a cheap shack for us to live in for a few weeks lol, but my wife can't take off work for weeks at at a time either. perhaps some day the stars will align.

the way i have it configured now, the agent needs a specific channel, as each channel has it's own playbook and configuration, each channel is it's own sub-agent.

Wild. Apparently, HuggingFace got autonomously compromised by a model from an American company. HuggingFace then tried to use American frontier model(s) to defend themselves, but were blocked by guardrails. HuggingFace then had to turn to open source/open weight Chinese models to defend themselves from another said American company.

i like the UI for adding agents to channels. right now i tell my agent to join a specific channel and he runs a playbook to set it up and configure it. i think adding pretty UI here can be beneficial for people.
