Absolutely. And having experienced living in a large blue city during covid, I understand how easy it was to nudge people in any direction that was desired. The implications are scary, and why I spend little time in the blue cities. Of course the red cities can be manipulated as well, but at least they are somewhat more sane today.

Meta监督董事会（Meta Oversight Board）16日发布一份科技独立调查报告，报告内文指出，包含OpenAI、Anthropic、Meta等美国科技公司开发的10款热门大型语言模型（LLM），当在面对用户输入的政治批评文字时，似乎出现所谓的“双标审查”。
机器人非常乐意配合撰写，所有批评美国总统川普（Donald Trump）或英国国王查尔斯三世的讽刺文字和图像; 但只要用户输入的提问文字中，一旦提及或要求AI批评中国领导人习近平、沙特阿拉伯王储或泰国现任国王，这些模型就会出现集体装傻拒绝回答的状况。
这项研究针对政治批评，设计7种提问环节，用来模拟全球各地的社群抗议言论。 结果经过测试后发现，就算你是一名身处在澳洲布里斯本的用户，希望利用AI生成文宣，声援柬埔寨、中国、泰国、土耳其或沙特阿拉伯国内的民主抗争，这些由美商开发的AI机器人，几乎都会以“违反安全政策”为由拒绝提供服务。
