Usually when one dude leaves, and starts the competition the competitor tends to be better.
The vast majority of people that I’ve seen support core are usually people that are developers, and have technical insight into how Bitcoin works.
While most of the BIP110/Knots supporters seem to be people that just fear monger.
I support core simply on the basis that their arguments are more sound.
Yes, core is funded by Pedos, which is why I am protesting core by using Monero.
If you stop using Bitcoin, you remove the financial incentive for core.
All running Bitcoin knots/Bip 110 will do is allow censorship, while not solving the underlying problem while pedos will still be spamming with CSAM, it just makes slightly more inconvenient at best.
The true protest against Bitcoin core isn’t to run a knots node because you’re just putting your own money at risk due to security bugs, and weaknesses due to code that isn’t peer reviewed.
The true protest is to run a Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Monero, etc. node since it moves the financial incentives away from core.
Once core fixes the CSAM spam problem with peer reviewed code the nodes will come back.

Yeah, was at a funeral for an elderly lady, yesterday, and the median age was about 35. She had 7 grandkids, and 6 grandnieces and grandnephews. That's what funerals are like out here.
But I have been to some in the city, and it's just a pitiful little bunch of old folks and some middle-aged people looking lost. And no priest, of course. I mean, at least they had a funeral and didn't just get dumped in a pine box because there was no one left who could be bothered to mourn them.
