Unable to zap this note from Dark wisp and Primal.. probably something wrong on your side
And I know I'm not Conor McGregor 🥲

i miss hearing @npub1hqa…t56s describe the meme on Plebchain Radio.
Do they actually call themselves The Houthi terrorist group, or is this a title given to them by someone that they regard as terrorists?
Sorry, I meant just not using zaps, no address and no nwc. And also in clients that completely remove likes from the interface. There are a lot of reasons why anyone does anything on Nostr though, and they're free to do so.
I dunno if I'd zap someone if they just had someone else's zap address set on their profile.
They may know it but a platform that won't pre-emptively ban anyone they disagree with is terrifying.
@npub12vk…pugg did you remove the setting that displays short posts in huge text? Can you put it back and stop making your UI suck?
This is Antibes. Cap d'Antibes is located between Antibes and Juan-Les-Pins, which I also recommend.
"Each drug has a side effect."
Death / Murder is not a side effect. It means the drug is not working.
Also, there is one governmental official who would disagree with you, Karl Lauterbach, Health Minister of Germany, 2021:
“Why does a minority of society refuse a vaccine with no side effects, even though it's free and can save their lives and the lives of many others?”
Here is what others said:
- Anthony Fauci: "When the Covid vaccine roll-out was in full swing, Dr Fauci said the immunity from shots made doubly-vaccinated people a 'dead end' for the virus, and even suggested they may no longer need to wear masks."
https://www.dailymail.com/health/article-11457313/Faucis-fall-grace-orchestrating-lockdowns-lying-lab-leak.html
- Rochelle Walensky: “Our data from the CDC today suggests, you know, that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials but it’s also in real world data.”
https://fortune.com/2021/04/01/its-official-vaccinated-people-dont-transmit-covid-19/
Since you asked what would I have done if I were in the government: When it all happened I knew for a FACT that these statements were in the very least untrue. This whole thing was a made up pandemic to earn lots of money and to gain control over the public. I wrote articles about that during that time.
Your studies are highly flawed:
1. Estimate of the Basic Reproduction Number for COVID-19: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
> There is a conflict of interest which isn't mentioned. The Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences for which the scientists doing the study work for prepared for the Iranian COVID vaccine (Noora). Preparation started in February 2020. ( https://www.tehrantimes.com/news/462470/IRGC-starts-clinical-trial-of-Noora-coronavirus-vaccine ) Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences, funded the study and has developed the vaccine for commercial purposes. ( https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10618008/ )
> No preregistration which means the study itself is selective.
> The methodology is flawed. The described methodology relies on simple data aggregation. Which means extreme heterogeneity in R0 estimation is not addressed.
> Only China is considered. You can't rule out location based problems.
> No mention of Relative Risk (RR).
2. Reliability of Early Estimates of the Basic Reproduction Number of COVID-19: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
> The methodology is flawed.
> The methodology is flawed. The described methodology relies on simple data aggregation. Which means extreme heterogeneity in R0 estimation is not addressed. The mathematical goal of producing a single pooled R0 (2.66 or 1.82) is fundamentally flawed because R0 is not a biological constant but a function of specific model assumptions and context. They even say this in their study: "Our sub-group analysis found a very wide heterogeneity of estimates in our meta-analysis, with values ranging from 1.91 to 4.09. This shows the vulnerability of 𝑅0 estimates to choices of modelling methods, data source, location, and timing."
> No mention of Relative Risk (RR).
3. The effective reproductive number of the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 is several times relative to Delta
> No preregistration which means the study itself is selective.
> The study’s main mathematical error is averaging two incompatible numbers: the basic reproduction number R0, which assumes no immunity, and the effective reproduction number RE, which accounts for existing immunity. Combining these distinct metrics creates a meaningless average that misrepresents the virus's true potential to spread.
> Additionally, relying on a single person to select the studies introduces human bias, further skewing the final result.
> No mention of Relative Risk (RR).
4. Reproduction numbers of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariants
> No preregistration which means the study itself is selective.
> The study makes a math error by averaging virus spread numbers from very different places (like India vs. Denmark) as if they were the same, even though local rules and immunity levels make those numbers unique. This creates a fake "global average" that doesn't accurately describe the risk in any specific country.
> Trying to find patterns by grouping these few studies by country is unreliable because there isn't enough data to prove the differences are real and not just random noise.
> No mention of Relative Risk (RR).
All mentioned studies were aggregating data while applying different mathematical models to calculate an average that in reality can't be calculated like a constant.
RR isn't even mentioned in any of your studies. However, this also applies to your RR > 2 value statement. It is not a constant, i.e. RR > 2 can't be true.
That is why I was referring to HOSPITALIZATIONS / Occupancy rate. This is a clear and undisputable number which you can check yourself without applying any mathematical flawed models. If there was a pandemic people would have rushed to hospitals. They did not. In fact, the overall hospitalization volume and average occupancy during the pandemic were often lower than or comparable to historical norms, not consistently higher.
Hospitals had so much time that they could even dance to Jerusalema:

I can imagine turning off the notifications for them if that's what you mean. For someone who gets a ton of notifications especially. Like I probably wouldn't want thousands of those per day.
But add a client Dev address or something. Or if clients just didn't show a zap button for people without an address. I waste a lot of time zapping and getting errors. Multi layered issue.
Yeah, totally eclipses months of arguing in good faith with people who are simply retarded. If this doesn’t wake them up, I don’t know what will.
Double the eggs. Half the bread.

@npub16c0…6nvr what have you done to the primal client? It’s dog shit these days. The friggin Damus loads notes and notifications faster than yours.

It takes four years before a new vine gives you a good harvest.
That's also the minimum length of time you should hold bitcoin.
I planted a new vineyard in 2020 and found bitcoin later that same year.
Both are taking longer than I expected.
That's fine by me.

1. UK scraps universal digital ID plan after mass opposition
-- Incoming Prime Minister Andy Burnham will abandon the proposed BritCard credential after nearly three million people signed a parliamentary petition against it, redirecting £1.8 billion budgeted over three years.
-- The reversal removes a mandatory identity layer from work checks and public services, but separate government digitization projects leave privacy and access disputes unresolved.
2. Israel and Lebanon launch first pilot zones under trilateral framework
-- Operations began Monday in the Lebanese villages of Froun, Srifa and Zawtar Al-Gharbiya following Israel-Lebanon talks in Rome, according to the U.S. State Department.
-- Successful implementation could reduce cross-border security risk and civilian displacement; failure would weaken a new diplomatic channel amid wider regional fighting.
3. IREN signs $2.8 billion in AI cloud contracts
-- Bitcoin miner and data-center operator IREN signed $2.8 billion in AI cloud deals and raised its 2026 annual recurring revenue target, Blockspace Media reported.
-- Long-term compute contracts can diversify miners away from volatile block rewards, while redirecting power and capital toward AI may reduce Bitcoin hashrate growth.
4. UK government and Bezos back CuspAI in $450 million round
-- Materials-discovery startup CuspAI raised $450 million with backing from the British government and Jeff Bezos as it develops artificial-intelligence tools for finding new compounds, Reuters reported.
-- Public participation gives Britain a stake in AI-driven materials research that could shorten development cycles for energy, manufacturing and defense supply chains.
5. Southern Spain wildfire kills at least 12
-- Hundreds of firefighters are battling a wildfire in southern Spain that has killed at least 12 people, the Associated Press reported Monday.
-- The double-digit death toll exposes gaps in evacuation and emergency-response capacity as extreme summer conditions amplify infrastructure and insurance risks across the region.
I kinda expected them to take aim at Braiins for providing plebs with a means to construct their own blocks and signal support at industrial scale.
Any chance to shit on Argentina lol.
Been finding @nprofile…8ren more and more to my liking over time.
I can use models more privately with the TEE feature. I pay with LN anonymously, i can see exact costs to the cent.
I wonder if more features can be added for switching between nyms more seamlessly.
Looks yummy crunchy! Do you use honey as the binder?

Good morning ✌️🧡
Essential nutrients include coffee.
Never understood why you'd turn off zaps.
Or reactions for that matter. Just have both.
No. I'm not a coffee addict. I'm a caffeine based life form and as such, I must honor the ways of my people.

The deeper you go into the work, the greater the distance between you and everyone who’s neglecting the work becomes
Suggestion to my peeps who've given up on zaps:
I get it, shit can be frustrating sometimes. However, I use zaps as a type of reaction. Consider adding a Lightning address for something or someone you'd like to support. It'll cost you nothing that I know of. My zaps will go through. Someone you like will get a small amount of support they wouldn't otherwise get. Nothing changes for you other than seeing zaps. You could probably even disable those notifications.
Thank you for considering my proposal.
Oh that’s awesome. 👏 🤣
