Just wanted to say that while I don't know everything that happens behind closed doors and that it likely was a hard decision, I think you made the honorable call in stepping away from XXI, and can't say I'm surprised you did.
You're a different kind of guy than the people it seemed like you were associated with, and while it never seemed like you'd 'sold out' I'd be lying if I said there were zero concerns about what you'd get put as a face for. Anything you build this way will be on a far stronger foundation. It may (and probably will) be a slower process in some ways, but you're a guy who I know understands the value of a solid foundation whose concrete was given the time it needed to cure (ask @nprofile…49mp about literal concrete to expand the metaphor). And I'm excited to see the structure as it emerges, one block at a time, ready to stand the test of time.
