Thank you @nprofile…h3c3! Your comment means a lot. I have no much time to achieve those like rebuild my home and start my Bitcoin accepted car rental agency in Sri Lanka. Those are dreams me for now. I need to achieve those when my parents are with me and give them a good life with making them proud about me. I am afraid about this situation. But I never give up! 💪
A big issue I think has to be underappreciated is the effects of VOCs and small decisions like not wearing gloves. I *think* younger people are caring more about this stuff, but I can imagine the peer pressure to not be a bitch. I actually experienced that when I was an electrician. Fuck you, I wore my respirator when drilling into concrete or working in attics, very old walls, etc.
Brake cleaner is an incredibly awful substance for us and I can imagine those dude's going through a lot. Modern ventilation would help a lot but I wonder how many shops are up to par on that sort of stuff. Or how many techs actually use the equipment (that's their choice, to be fair). I get that it should be expected to be hard on your body. I just don't personally think it's worth what they get paid. But my time preference is probably different than the average (you alluded to this with the financial decisions component). I've always said that my brother in law who has owned an electrical business for 20 years shouldnt still be breaking his back in his 40s. They blow money like crazy.

I find it pretty wild, but amazing how such a niche technology has gotten me diving down political and economic theory, rhetoric, metaphysics... etc just so i can be better at communicating why it is actually a superior technology and framework than what most are familiar with.
Probably mostly an excuse to indulge in obscure philosophy, but it does seem that some of it actully lands. Maybe in some highly obtuse way my intuition is actually on to something 🤷

It's a sticky situation. Government is usually fine so long as you have the means to storm and replace it if they start overstepping their bounds. But that possibility is gone so the government can just encroach infinitely.
If they were defending property rights, then they'll defend someone else's rights more than your rights eventually and violate yours in the process. When that happens, you have to be able to take that right back into your own hands and oppose the government.

No prob, donate it to a worthy cause. I am an old time Bitcoiner turned Monero supporter because of its ease of use as a privacy preserving and fungible currency.
I use LN (lightning network) from time to tjme, but it is hard to maintain in a proper self-custodial way and I don't bwantbtk encourage adoption that doesn't lead to more overall self-sovereignty.
