No - messages from YakiHonne won't show up in White Noise. With E2EE each device/app is a distinct "member" of the group. Marmot has basic multi-device support already but we'll add some features soon that will make it work (and sync your chats) in the way you're probably hoping it works ;)
Yes, it's strictly better when you need group conversations that will be long lived and you want forward secrecy and post compromise security. Some apps really don't need that level of protection though.

There is no global.
Can't be without a centralized server, or full duplication of all notes on all relays, with some agreed upon mechanism for ensuring none are missing and for resolving conflicts.
The latter is, of course, how Bitcoin solves for global state, but that's not realistic or deairable for Nostr. So we have to get used to notes sometimes being missing from our feeds.
