😹 fuck I feel that. I got 2,400 sqft of other people’s mistakes and neglect to deal with! Previous homeowner was a diy-er that did everything with whatever crap they had laying around, and with only a vague idea of how to do things properly. Every time I open something up it’s a huge lottery what kind of new hell I’ll end up getting into. Today was one of those, “I’ll just replace these two pieces of trim real quick” kind of days… ended up stripping an entire corner of the house down to studs because some genius put the last piece of step flashing *behind* the siding so water has been pouring down the interior of the wall for the last 20 years.
