Goddamn that was a solid investment. I hadn't heard of it until now. It sure worked out for the person who took 20% for 200k though.

Oh, I meant more like every client should have the basic nips compatibility like gift wrapping/private DMs (NIP-59) for example 😑.
If clients don’t have a universal agreed upon list of nips/events/kinds it causes issues because person on client a sees a note/event that person on client b doesn’t see.
I get not all kinds/events/nips can be implemented the same way but there should be as little friction as possible between clients, and their standards.

We have most if not all the pieces to make Nostr work.
We just need a client to stitch it all together now.
There’s a few clients that I personally like, and think are, and there’s features on more obscure clients that I also think are interesting.
Of course it’s up to the devs, however I think the dev that figures out the recipe first will have a bigger advantage over the other clients.

That's why I don't like some brands. Putting the alternator (which fails most frequently) behind the engine in the tightest spot possible, running belts in a way so you can't take them off without unbolting engine mounts, wet timing belts (who designed that?!), nuts inside closed-section profiles which break off, super long glow plugs which snap in half in the head, or some crazy designs like the "eolys bag"

Also tools like @nprofile…6j4e @nprofile…08y4 like tools implemented into clients might be helpful too.
Because recreating entire datasets that already exist would be annoying when importing into Nostr with time accurate stamps would be amazing, and being able to host it yourself.
Nostr has so many tools nowadays that we didn’t when I started.
We’re getting there.

That theory adds up unless you understand that we are living in a period of transition. I view Bitcoin as more of an investment in the future right now. I use it as money too, but I just mean that I fully accept that it will be volatile for quite a while. People who don't understand it are still making economic decisions alongside those who do and economic decisions will never be totally rational anyway.

I see it as Nostr + Monero personally but payment targets make Nostr skyrocket in comparison to Nostr + Monero.
Because fiat people love fiat tools like Patreon, and kofi, etc.
But we’ll eventually free the masses with memetic power, and freedom.
So when the next TikTok Ian Carol like guy comes on here we won’t fuck it up, and actually keep users next time.
