Automobiles have been converted into tools to impoverish you and prop up the fiat system. This is why Obama did the "cash for clunkers" scheme to interrupt the used car market, and allow automakers to double and tripple the price they charge for cars.
Its become nearly impossible for an average individual to purchase a new car without financing it for 4 to 7 years, which is ridiculous. The NHSTA has been part of this scheme, to increase the cost of cars beyond what is managable for a single-income household.
You may be thinking "its just the auto makers colluding with government regulators to increase their profits" but that's not what is happening at all.
In reality, it is a scheme to increase the money supply and increase the debt burden serviced by the average American. Even at "low APR" it is still supporting the money creation system. It is pushing spending sooner at the cost of future labor, not to "prop up" the auto makers, but to keep money inflation high.
Autos are high-cost, high-risk, high-devaluation lending product. The reasoning is to force most of the population into taking out loans that have a high likelihood of default, simply to offset the natural deflation in our high-productivity economy.
Auto-loans are designed to keep the price of cars high, as high as possible (much like education loans), and to maximize inflation through loan defaults.
To buy a new car for a sensible adult is a pure expense, not an investment, not a luxury, but purely for function. Some adults will keep-up the juvenile "flashing wealth" for appearances, others need to do it to maintain their "image" in their "profession, like a real-estate agent who play on sexual appeal to women. But most, including most professionals, do not have this need. Most, when they purchase a new car, leave 100-dollar-bills in their tracks all their way home, and they KNOW IT.
So what to do? We all need transportation, right?
The answer for the sensible adult, the bitcoiners is to purchase used, possibly off-lease, and let the average dummy pay 3/4 the car's cost-to-value difference. Learn how to maintain your vehicle. Do more than just oil changes and brake changes. Learn how to work on suspension, drive-train, body work. Take night classes from continuing-education to learn the tips and tricks. Take a part-time job at a local body-shop. Watch YouTube videos on which is the lowest maintenance and lowest cost-to-value used car. Watch videos on how to replace your wheel hub, ball-joints and your tie-rod-ends. Learn how to realign your car with cheap simple tools.
You will be driving safer in the end, because you will recognize when something is about to go wrong far in advance of breaking down or getting in a horrible accident.
Sounds like too much work? Work it out on a spreadsheet and see for yourself how many sats you will stack.

Why do you say it's 2 sats per minute? Did you enter the 2 in the zap stream admin panel? The number you enter in the ingest box means it's per ingest, not 2 total.
It's confusing, I told the zap stream administrator it should be changed to reflect the true price. Since you have 5 ingest it means it's 10 sats per minute.
The stream went well. I didn't have connection issues. I was just not able to get the correct url. I had to read your note about it.
