Výzkum vedený týmem z Univerzity Sydney zkombinoval data z 23 studií a zjistil, že melatonin může být při zmírnění bolesti stejně účinný jako běžně používané léky. Výzkum ale ukázal účinek především u chronické bolesti, nikoli po chirurgických zákrocích. Studie také podporuje, že melatonin je bezpečný pro krátkodobé použití. Autoři varují, že melatonin by neměl zcela nahradit léky na bolest a doporučují konzultaci s lékařem před jeho použitím.

Besides when I work on nostr, I don’t work on nostr because it’s the most technically stubborn and difficult to get to work correctly thing I’ve worked on.
Everything else just works. But the distributed nature of nostr makes it difficult to work with.
Yes, you can vibe an app in a prompt. But if you want something to work reliably, nostr always puts up a fight. In some ways it’s the opposite of what it promises.
Even the so called pro devs here cannot make something truly reliable. The moment I test it a bunch of stuff doesn’t work. And the typical response is: oh well you gotta turn this knob, pull that lever twice and then say a prayer while clapping turned away from the full moon.
But other than that it works when it works 😂

Yeah, there is this username function that allow to use it without sharing is phone number, so you could get a separate SIM number for registering Signal and other apps that is not the same as for communicating.
But this username is not like a long term identity, it can be changed anf lost forever and possibility takeover by someone else (as I understand).
Best app without phone number, without account, without central server is Briar. There is also Threema, Simple X or even a lot of nostr based messenger app.
But the problem of any messenger app without contact discovery via phone number is that adoption stays extremely low. You must actively coordinate with each contact to decide on the app to use and share your username/session keys to start communicating.
Who is doing that anymore ? Long ago is the time of AIM, MSN messenger and ICQ where people who do such effort to continue communicating online. Now people want thing to work our of the box, suggest contacts to them and stays where they are most attracted by the most adicitve algorithm.
